DESCRIPTION

The tanh(), tanhf(), and tanhl() functions compute the hyperbolic tangent of x. For a discussion of error due to roundoff, see math(3).

RETURN VALUES

The tanh(), tanhf(), and the tanhl() functions return the hyperbolic tangent value.
