Ram ist ein blockorientiertes um auf die Ramdisk direkt zuzugreifen.

Normalerweise wird diese Datei erstellt mit:

mknod -m 660 /dev/ram b 1 1
chown root.disk /dev/ram

mknod(1), chown(1), mount(8) [Englisch].
